Australian developer Pronto Software has won a prestigious AIIA Victorian state iAward for Pronto Xi Dimensions, an innovative product that brings together ERP transactions and BI Analytics in a unified, out-of-the-box solution.

The Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) iAwards recognise innovation excellence in ICT across businesses and individuals, with a strong focus on the achievements of home-grown Australian innovators.

Pronto Software won the Tools and Infrastructure iAward presented by Victorian Minister for Technology Gordon Rich-Phillips in Melbourne on Wednesday. Pronto Xi Dimensions was judged by ICT professionals on its uniqueness, market potential and product features.

Pronto Software Managing Director David Jackman said, '?Our aim was to develop a breakthrough solution that would make our ERP engine smarter and create greater access to knowledge, to enable customers to innovate and differentiate.'

'?We're proud as a team to receive this award, as it recognises our commitment to continually deliver value and innovation to the mid-market,' added Jackman.

Pronto Xi Dimensions is the world's first ERP system to embed the latest IBM Cognos 10 Business Intelligence (BI) technology out of the box, giving users the ability to harness the intelligence from the ERP system to run their business efficiently and extend data to actionable insights.

iAward State winners go on to compete at a national level, with national winners invited to represent Australia at the Asia-Pacific ICT Awards in Thailand later this year. The national iAwards winners will be announced in Melbourne on 4 August 2011.
